  We saw a significant jump in the volume of hay this auction, which did affect prices on certain lots. Demand for good mixed hay an alfalfa continues, especially in small squares and Big Squares.  Round Bales continue to be the value Buy if you can use them definelty the cheapest per ton.  Bedding will be a hard to get this winter if you haven't done so already.

  Another auction with a little more volume especially wth Small Squares and Big Squares.  With the larger volume we did see some prices soften a little from where they had been especially if it wasn't quiet what the buyers wanted.  A nice selection of Small squares ranging from $5.00- $14.00 a bale on some extremely nice 4th cutting Alfalfa/Grass mix.

  A good Auction to start the new year.  The weather was a little brisk, but the snow stayed away from our area anyway so no real travel issues.  A little more hay in the market kept the prices moderate.  The demand for Small squares and Big Squares of Mixed hay continues to be strong.  Cornstalks have moderated for the most part and seem to be settling around that $35 mark on 5x5 rounds.

  Another good run of hay for the 1st auction in Feb. We a little suprised by the volume and quality of the hay for the First part of 2020.  We struggled all Summer to make good hay, but we are seeing it come in now.  The market has turned into more of a buyers market compared to the last 12 months.  This downturn in the market is mostly due to a larger volume than expected.

A smaller run of hay this Auction because of the really cold weather.  Prices remained the same for the majority of the small squares, but Big Rounds and Squares were stronger, due to limited offerings.
